michael ayres
Michael's background is in the financial sector, I set up and operated a small licensed finance company in the early ‘80’s, following which I entered the insurance and superannuation industry in 1987. I worked in that industry until 1996 when I joined RAMS Home Loans as a mortgage broker.
From RAMS, I transferred to eChoice in December,1999, and worked there until joining 1st Street in September, 2010.
I was among the top performers with RAMS, and was the highest performer within eChoice every year I was there, on the basis of volumes written and client satisfaction, never having had an adverse business or client report in all the years I have been working in the finance industry and as a mortgage broker. Whilst with eChoice, I gained entry to the MFAA Top 100 Brokers.

natalie copeland
Natalie began working in the Financial Services Industry with the Commonwealth Bank in June 1995. During her time there, Natalie held a variety of positions including roles as a Lending Officer, Senior Trainer (Lending & Investments), Investment Consultant and Business Development Manager before leaving in 2002 to expand her experience within the Industry. Natalie went on to work for funds management businesses; Portfolio Partners, AMP and Deutsche Bank, where she worked closely with financial planning groups, sophisticated investors and high net worth individuals, drawing on her investment and lending background, to keep clients up to date with the array of financial products and investment strategies available.
Natalie's past experience with her own property portfolio, in addition to her lending and investment markets experience, have equipped her with an excellent skill base for a career in the Mortgage Industry.
Natalie says: "All of my previous roles without exception, have required excellent communication and inter-personal skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of the products and services on offer to my clients. Getting a loan and buying or selling a property can be a stressful experience if not handled correctly, my focus as a mortgage broker is to make the process of getting finance as smooth, simple and enjoyable as possible for my clients. Clair is a knowledgeable and personable mortgage broker with over 8 years of experience in the finance industry. Clair joined 1st Street in 2012 and brought with her the passion and responsiveness that led to her being awarded the ‘National Loan Writer of the Year 2011’ at Aussie Home Loans.

Natalie has worked in marketing, sales and events for 10 years and in this time she has been a valued member of some of Australia's largest companies including The Nine Network and David Jones. With a degree in Media and a keen interest in Finance, Natalie develops and implements marketing and sponsorship initiatives for 1st Street as well as ensuring legal compliance across the business.
